A Kentucky man pleaded guilty on Tuesday, September 8th, 2021, to producing child pornography of a Lubbock teen.

Edward Wheeler admitted in court on Tuesday, that he enticed a teenager into creating child pornography. Edward knew the 13-year-old victim through his wife, Jessica Roxanne Wheeler.

Everything Lubbock reports Edward Wheeler lived in Kentucky, while his wife lived in Lubbock.

Authorities learned of the situation in June 2020 after a relative of Jessica discovered messages between the couple discussing sexual acts with the teenager.

In one message, Wheeler discussed getting the teen pregnant in order to sell the child. Authorities found 45 images of child pornography within the messages as well.

Wheeler pleaded guilty in September 2020 to receipt and distribution of child pornography. She's awaiting sentencing, facing up to 20 years in prison and a fine not to exceed $250,000.

If a judge accepts the plea deal, Edward faces a minimum of 15 years in federal prison.
