Larry "Lar Dog" Ward Sr. loved rock music. So when he passed recently, his family knew the best way to send him on to his next gig:

Lar Dog LOVED music! He loved to play the guitar, he loved jamming with his boy, Larry Ward. He taught Larry and so many others how to get started in the world of music and was right there to be the driving force for you to push you to the next level. He wanted nothing more than to be around music and music lovers and his family. Larry Ward Senior unexpectedly passed on to the next life Wednesday December 12th. Lar Dog did not have a plan for the future, because the future was not supposed to end in this part of the journey so soon.
Lar Dog always supported J and B since the day we met. If I am being honest, his love and passion for J and B were much more than even my own and he was one hell of a driving force. He did not want a funeral or service, he wanted a show with bands he loved to watch jam and hang out with!

So Larry Ward Jr told me a list of bands his dad loved and we reached out the bands and all the bands were more than gracious enough and honored to play their friends Memorial Show. Hopefully Lar Dog will forgive me for not being able to get Avatar to play on such short notice.

With all that being said, we invite you and everyone to come out and celebrate the life of Lar Dog, come share your tales of how Lar Wolf impacted your life, and if you're like the rest of us, there are a lot of them! I am honored to be able to help with this show and without further due, the lineup, is as follows:

Toxic Thread
Against Gravity
Sons of Mayberry (featuring Doug Stapp)
Kilter TX
Tea with Titans
All Falls Down
Fluid Frequency

$5 minimum donation (ALL proceeds going to the family)

For more information, or to let them know you're coming, head over to the Facebook Event Page. Additionally, the family has a GoFundMe set up to help with final expenses.
