Laugh Hub City Hosts Tribute Show For Late Local Comedian Gary Dorsey

Gary Dorsey's favorite thing in the world was putting on a great show for his friends, his family, and his fans in Lubbock. He unexpectedly passed away last month and the local comedy scene will never be the same. Laugh Hub City and other local artists are putting on a fantastic tribute show this weekend, and if you knew and loved Gary, this will be a great time for all of us to get together and celebrate his life and deep love for his community.

The Gary Dorsey Tribute Show will take place at Raider's Axe Gallery & Entertainment at 1408 Ave F, on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, from 6 pm until midnight, and will feature a prize raffle, stand-up comedy, memorial stories, music, and much more.

There really aren't words to express just how much we miss Gary and how much he meant to all of us. He was truly one of a kind. A great friend and a loving person. He is gone far too soon, and we are all grateful to have known him at all.

He stopped by the studio to hang out with The RockShow a few months ago, and it was an absolute joy. We are so glad we got to spend that time with him, and so very sorry to see him go.

Please come out and enjoy a celebration of his life with everyone in the stand-up community. It will be sad, but there will be lots of laughs too. Gary would want us all to keep laughing. See you on Saturday!
