Levelland Police Dept. Warns Public About Phone Scam

The Levelland Police Department is warning the public of scammers using their department phone number to try and get personal information. That phone number is 806-894-6164.

Officials of Levelland PD say the scammers are calling and telling people there’s a warrant out for their arrest and that they need certain information to "confirm" the warrant and avoid being arrested.

The department says they will never call anyone to warn of a pending arrest warrant and they’re asking residents not to give out any personal information over the phone.
