Lubbock is constantly overlooked. If you've actually spent time here, you know that our city quietly does a few things much better than places twice its size.

There are things Lubbock does really well. Not flashy, not overhyped, but...just better in ways you don’t fully appreciate until you’ve dealt with big-city traffic, prices, and attitudes. So before anyone writes it off, let’s give a little credit where it’s due.

Lubbock Ain't Fancy, And That's Okay!

It's really easy to focus on what we don't have here in Lubbock. Sometimes, we all get a little sick of the same tired old stuff. If you focus on all of the negatives, it's hard to see the positives for what they are.

Lubbock has a pace, a personality, and a sense of ease that big cities will never be able to replicate. If you've ever left here for a while only to come crawling back, then you already know what I mean. I took this place for granted for many years, and now, I can actually look at Lubbock for what it is: a really great place to live.
