A Lubbock Favorite Takes A Little Break, Reminding Us That Family Businesses Matter
"Family Owned and Operated" brings certain things to mind, doesn't it?

Lubbock's Lite Bite Takes A Tiny Break
For many family-owned places, the only way a family vacation can happen is if most of the family stays behind, or if the establishment is temporarily closed.
And while I know it may be disappointing if you were in the mood for excellent Mediterranean food, remember that these folks have more than earned a little break.
When Will Lite Bite Be Closed?
Lite Bite announced on Facebook that they will be closed a total of 10 days, from August 8th through the 18th, giving us plenty of warning to satisfy our cravings before they take off for a family location.
Never Been To Lite Bite? Here's What To Expect
If you've never experienced the cuisine of Lubbock's Lite Bite, you are missing out. They offer a wide variety of Mediterranean favorites like gyros, shawarma, kafta, chicken tawouk, chicken sumac, and falafel sandwiches.

Additionally, they offer stuffed grape leaves, fatoush, baba ganouge (my favorite dip ever!), hummus, Greek salad, and more.
Lite Bite is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The dining area is open and welcoming, with lots of natural light during the day. The family that owns Lite Bite is incredibly sweet.
Enjoy your break Lite Bite! You've more than earned it.
