Lubbock Celebrates BACON In A Big Way at United, Market Street & Amigos

Bacon is so delicious it's almost hard to believe. There's a ton of science behind why we find it so particularly palatable, but it boils (or should I say fries) down to the fact that bacon is incredibly satisfying to us- representing sweet, salty, and umami all at once. We were made for loving bacon baby, bacon was made for us to love.

United, Market Street, and Amigos recognize this and are celebrating bacon in a big way. 2023 actually marks the 3rd annual Baconfest- with tons of delicious bacon-based foods throughout the store, some of which are limited so you better try them ASAP.

Some of the featured bacon items making an appearance during Bacon Fest will be bacon mac and cheese, bacon cookies, ribeye bacon burger, hatch chile bacon meatloaf, and more.

Saturday, July 15th at Market Street (98th & Indiana location) is Bacon and Brews. There will be FREE bacon to snack on from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.- perfect to pair with a frosty cold one from Market Street's in-house bar. Guests will also be able to meet and take photos with Raider Red and Texas Tech's Masked Rider (WRECK 'EM!), along with other fun surprises.

Market Street knows everything is better with bacon and all of July is the time to celebrate. Now just wait until Baconfest hits Hatch Chili season. That's almost TOO much flavor to handle.
