I matched with a guy on a dating site, and we agreed after only chatting for a few hours that we would meet at my favorite bar for a drink. I knew my friends would be around, and it was a safe bet, just in case he was a weirdo. I thought that was strange, but then it got even worse, starting with his refusing to buy a drink at the bar and instead opting for a flask in his pocket, which he tried to get me to drink from as well. No, thanks! After that, he proceeded to tell me how much prettier I was in person than the photos he had seen, telling me that I was "not nearly as fat" as he thought I'd be. Ugh.

I waited for the right moment, paid my tab, and dipped. He spent the next 5 or 7 weeks texting me and begging for another date. I told him I would literally rather die.

Be safe out there, friends, and if you have a blind date planned, be sure you tell your pals where you're going and give them information on WHO you will be going with. You never know what could go wrong.
