Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market To Begin 2026 Season This May
The Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market is truly special. Laid-back and friendly, the market takes place in a beautiful area, and is usually full of gorgeous local produce, local eggs and meats, wine from local wineries, and stunning bouquets of fresh cut flowers.

When And Where Is The Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market?
The LDFM is held at the gorgeous LHUCA Plaza at 5th Street & Ave. J. It will begin on Saturday, May 23rd, and run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday until October 24th. Like any farmer's market, the earlier you get there, the better that day's selection will be.

How To Get Involved at Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market
LDFM still has some vendor space (although this will fill up quickly). If you would like to be a vendor at LDFM, you can find the application here. LDFM is seeking vendors with locally grown ag produce, food, or locally produced crafts. LDFM does not allow resale or advertising-style booths at the market, which maintains the authentic farmer's market vibe we all want.
What To Expect At The LDFM
In former years, I've gone home with the following from the LDFM market: produce, jams, honey, sourdough bread, granola, wine, cheese, beef, eggs, fresh flowers, live garden plants, jewelry, lotion, handmade purses, and candles. In other words, all the good stuff you want.
You can also expect friendly vendors, friendly dogs, and folks in a relaxed, good mood, surrounded by the lovely art, trees, and shade of the LHUCA Plaza.
We are so excited for the return of this lovely seasonal market!
