Feeding a family (or a crew of friends) can get pricey quickly. However, if you can all decide on the same thing, there are many options for "Family Meals" in Lubbock, which are budget-friendly and save you from having to turn on the stove.

Stella's (6015 82nd St Suite #1)

Stella's Family Packs are available for 2 or 4 people and include 1 entree and 1 pasta or side, and come with bread and salad. Choose from Eggplant Parmesan to Cashew Chicken and several other options.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen (4009 S Loop 289)

Cheddar's offers a variety of Family Bundles, which you can order for pickup or delivery (they are to-go only), including: chicken tenders, baby back ribs, salmon, combinations of these meats, large family salad, and gallons of tea or lemonade. You get to pick the sides that come with the meals, too. The platters feed 3-4 adults and are very reasonably priced in my opinion.

Saltgrass Steak House (6026 Marsha Sharp Fwy W)

Saltgrass offers a large variety of Family Packs from burgers to steaks and shrimp, large family sides available à la carte, large salads, gallons of tea and lemonade (including strawberry. You get to pick the sides (some of the fancier sides have an upcharge). The available variety is fantastic, and each pack feeds 5 adults.

Price Range $47- $157, $9.50 - $31.50 per person.

Orlando's Italian Restaurant (2 Lubbock Locations)

Orlando's, Lubbock's longest-running local restaurant, offers a wide variety of entrees and sizes to meet your needs, from mini-packs for 2 to Party Packs for 10. Their spaghetti packs in their signature Orlando's tubs are downright nostalgic for me. Packs include antipasto salads, dressing, their signature garlic bread, utensils, and menus, if desired. The breakdown per person is quite affordable, especially in larger quantities.

Johnny Fab's Cadillac Grill (11605 Slide R)

Johnny Fab's offers several Family-Style-To-Go options, all very reasonably priced, from tenders to fajitas and rotisserie chicken.

Abeulo's Mexican Restaurant (4401 82nd St)

Abuelo's offers several Family Feasts from fajitas to the extremely cost-effective nacho platters. Most meals come with chile con queso, refried beans, and Mexican rice. Meals come in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.
