Lubbock Man Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Murder

A Lubbock man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Thursday, February 13th for a murder that took place in November of 2017.
21-year-old Daniel Reyes Rangel was arrested and charged with the murder of 34-year-old Isaias Rodriguez in 2017.
KAMC News reports that on November 29th specifically, Lubbock Police received calls of gunshots in the 2500 block of Amherst Street. Officers located Rodriguez lying in the street with a gunshot wound.
Rodriguez was transported to University Medical Center where he later died.
