UPDATE: Missing Lubbock Man Found in New Mexico

Lubbock Police now report that Mr. Martin has been found safe and sound in New Mexico.

Lubbock Police are searching for an elderly man who went missing on Monday afternoon.

78 year-old Joe Earl Martin was last seen at his residence in the 5700 block of 70th Place at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020. Martin was leaving his home in his red Chevy Suburban. The vehicle has a Texas license plate of YHS6DV.

Lubbock Police describe Martin as a white male 5'8" in height, bald, with brown eyes, weighing approximately 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a beige sweater, a multi-colored, button-up shirt, and khakis.
