People in big cities LOVE complaining about their commute to work and how long it takes. Meanwhile, crossing town in Lubbock is just part of daily life. We will absolutely drive all the way to the other side of time for things that make zero sense to outsiders.

The One Carwash They Trust

Loyalty goes pretty far here, especially if you've had your rearview mirror ripped off while testing out a new car wash. Favorite one is back near where you lived in college? Chances are, you're still driving there.

The Good Sonic

Every neighborhood claims its Sonic is the best. It all comes down to personal preference, really, but I'll drive all the way to 34th and Q for Sonic. Are they really any different? Probably not. But, to me...that's still the best one...

Cheap Furniture from Facebook Marketplace

We will drive all the way to Slaton or Levelland for a good deal. Don't try us. We're already standing at your front door with the cash.

A Good Backyard Cookout

I'm not sure about you, but if someone is feeding me, I'll find a way to make it happen.

Bonus points if you take an Uber when you know you might have a few sippy sips. The last thing we need is more drunk drivers crashing into houses! Don't be part of the problem.

To Help a Friend

We love our homies in Lubbock. We will drive clear across town to help you clean out your garage or to help you move. We'll even bring a truck to haul your mattress if you ask nicely. My friends have never let me down when it came to needing help moving. We kind of love each other around here.
