Lubbock Restaurant Recognized as One of The Best in Texas

AAA Magazines featured Lubbock's The Plaza Restaurant & Bar in an article entitled "7 Of The Best Mexican Restaurants In Texas". The Plaza was praised for its delicious food and comfortable atmosphere by Chef Finn Walter of The Nicolett, an award-winning fine dining restaurant in the heart of downtown Lubbock.

The vibe of The Plaza was described in the article as a place that "hosts everything from Little League wins and birthdays to Taco Tuesday and Sunday brunch." That's pretty accurate. You can dress it up or down at The Plaza. Most of us have chosen The Plaza for date nights as often as we have for a casual evening of drinks at the bar.

Chef Finn Walter says that his favorite dish is the skillet enchiladas. The Plaza has an extensive menu, and I've never had a dish there that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. My morning show partner really loves the chile relleno and the stuffed avocado. It's also the number one place among my friends to go for a great margarita.

Big props to The Plaza Restaurant & Bar for being one of the best places to share a meal with your friends and family in Lubbock, and thanks to Chef Finn Walter for selecting them to be featured. We have so many wonderful Mexican restaurants to choose from in Lubbock, Texas, but none of them are quite like The Plaza.
