Lubbock's Savage Tiki Tavern Rebrands Under New Ownership

Mmm, tiki drinks. Delicious blends of fruit juices, bitters, and usually a lot of rum. They are as pretty to look at as they are delightful to drink. And paired with a unique yet accessible menu? Could we have such a thing in Lubbock?

Lubbock's Signature Tiki Bar

Savage Tiki Tavern was the place to go for tiki drinks and creative, elevated bar food. But don't panic, you haven't missed your chance to enjoy it- the bar, located at 1625 University Ave, is simply rebranding after an ownership change. Of course, something will change along with the new ownership, but you'll still be able to get those fancy drinks and that incredible food. Seriously, try the Hawaii 5-0 burger, its a real treat.

Savage Tavern's New Owners

The new owners are industry folks who, as far as I can tell, were already involved with Savage. The new name for the bar will be Tom Foolery's, and you can already like their page on Facebook to keep up with specials and events. After combing through some posts and comments, I've been able to glean that they will still have brunch (yes!) and will have some amazing drink specials, too. And it looks like they've brightened the place up a bit for daytime hours:
