This deliciously cooler weather calls for some outside time, doesn't it?

The high next Tuesday, September 3rd is only 81 degrees. Why not celebrate this little taste of Fall by celebrating Happy Hour on the patio? And you can do it for a great cause.

The United Supermarket located at 6313 4th Street is hosting a Happy Hour Kickoff event for Folds of Honor On September 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Folds of Honor has awarded over 52,000 scholarships totaling over $240 million to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. And now, in our biggest announcement yet, we are expanding the Folds of Honor mission to incorporate America’s first responders, including police, fire-fighters, EMTs, and paramedics.

The event will raise money for this very worthy cause by accepting donations and holding raffles for great prizes. A portion of Budweiser draft sales will be donated as well.

The event will also have a variety of appetizers and small bites available. There will be live entertainment, making it perfect for mingling or relaxing with friends.

Feel free to come as you are, the dress code is casual- comfortable, and relaxed.

This sounds like a really lovely event for a phenomenal cause. And when you hang out at United, you have access to it all. If you'd prefer a coffee to the other kind of brew, Starbucks is right there!

For more information about the important mission of Folds of Honor, head to the website here. You can also donate there if you would like to chip in but cannot make the event.
