Lubbock’s Best Donuts Offers A Variety of Freshly Made Flavors [Review]

I'm ashamed of myself that its taken me this long to discover the incredible selection at Best Donuts (8004 Indiana Ave). I am a huge fan of local donut shops- the kind with friendly counter service and those ubiquitous yellow tables. It's just so cozy and nice to visit one.

Best Donuts sets itself apart with a wide selection of frostings, my favorites being the fruit- sweet cherry, luscious lemon, and an absolutely decadent orange.

They also offer a rotating variety of exciting toppings like Fruity Pebbles. Here's an idea of what you'll get in an $8 mixed dozen:

They of course offer long johns, cream and fruit filled, bear claws and all the usual donut varieties. But if you ask a long time Best Donut fan what the best thing is- it's the jalapeno kolache. And now they have BACON jalapeno kolaches. I know what I'm getting next time.
