Lubbock’s Own Chace Crawford Makes Huge Splash in ‘The Boys’ Season 2 Trailer

I am beyond excited for Amazon Prime's The Boys Season 2, which will premiere on the streaming service on September 4th, 2020. I read the comics ages ago, and the first season was an absolute blast.

If you're unfamiliar with the premise of The Boys, the comic and series center around a group of "normal" vigilantes seeking revenge/justice against the super "heroes" of the world, who range from deeply evil to jaded to just...bad at it.

The Deep falls into the latter category, as you'll see in this teaser video:

Now the extra fun part of this is that the actor that plays The Deep, Chace Crawford, was born in Lubbock. He got famous as Nate in Gossip Girl, and his sister is also famous. Candice Crawford is a former Miss Missouri winner, Miss USA contestant and is currently married to Tony Romo. She was also born in the Hub City.

Chace also recently starred in the independent film Charlie Says, a film about the Manson family. He took on the role of Tex Watson, the man who murdered actress Sharon Tate.
