Lubbock’s Prom Season Isn’t Just For Teens, Thanks to Gals That Brunch

I don't know about you, but I had a somewhat sub-par prom experience. I am very grateful to my friend who went with me because my boyfriend at the time refused. We got some really adorable pictures, ate chocolate-covered strawberries, and bailed. It was... okay.

Ladies, if you had a lame prom or loved it and want to relive it, I've got the event for you. No need to envy the teens this time.

Lubbock's Gals That Brunch is hosting a ladies-only prom on May 6th. Heels are totally optional, and no dates are allowed so leave your significant other at home.

GTB Prom will be held at the Bella Vie Venue & Center Events (13603 Slide Rd) at 7:30 P.M. You must purchase your Prom ticket in advance to attend so they can get a proper headcount for food at drinks- that's right, drinks. There will be a surprise frozen cocktail, so there's no need to "spike the punch." The event will be catered by One Guy From Italy.

This event is intended to be a fun excuse to grab that formal dress from the back of the closet (or purchase a "new" one from the thrift store), get gussied up, and let loose with other ladies. Gals That Brunch Lubbock is a strictly no-networking social group, so don't fear a sales pitch. It's a great way to make new friends.
