Lubbock’s Spirit Ranch Hosts Fabulous ‘Old Hollywood’ New Year’s Eve Event

I'm pretty ready to ring in the new year. 2022 wasn't my best year, and I know I'm not alone. It's time for a fresh start!

If you are looking around town in Lubbock for somewhere to toast at midnight, you might want to check out the Old Hollywood New Year's Eve event at Spirit Ranch.

According to their website, entertainment will be provided by Shawn of Platinum DJ, and there will be a gourmet coffee bar, balloon drop, champagne toast at midnight, and breakfast burritos before you leave! They will also have a toasty firepit.

Breakfast burritos before you leave!? What a fantastic idea! That's seriously exactly what I want after I've had a few drinks and some fun at a party. I'm totally into it.

They also encourage guests to "dress to impress, black tie encouraged", so it's probably going to be pretty fabulous. If your wife is always harping on you for never taking her to a fancy party, you can start the new year right and check out Spirit Ranch for a high-class night out in Lubbock.

Oh! And...some of the proceeds for the party go to a wonderful local cause. Owner Jason Waters told FMX:

"We are going to be donating a portion of the ticket sales to Adopt Lubbock. My wife and I recently adopted a child and they helped us out with getting things we needed last minute because he was born a month early and we did not have everything yet. They also contributed to some of the expenses, so we want to give back what we can so that it can help someone else."

I've got 9 adopted siblings and I know that my folks weren't always prepared for their arrival. It's really great to see a local business giving back to a great organization.
