Lubbock’s The Ducks Are Performing At Jakes For A Very Special Night

Lubbock's The Ducks know how to rock AND how to party- I mean, just look at them* below!

The Ducks will perform this Saturday, July 27 at Jake's Backroom (50th & Slide). They do tend to pack the place, so get there early for the best spot (and to get your delicious Jake's drinks- try their Long Island Iced Tea if you're feeling frisky!)

Doors to the backroom open at 9 p.m. with music from 10.p.m. all the way until 2 a.m.! The front of Jakes will be open prior if you'd like to do a little pre-gaming or grab a great bite to eat. Expect a very modest cover charge for The Ducks in the Backroom.

This show is an extra special one because it is also the Frenship Class of '94 reunion party, but it is open to the public, too. It is also a tribute to the late co-founder of The Ducks, Ben Vasquez, a Frenship graduate.

Ben will be there in more than just spirit, as one special song will feature guitar tracks that he recorded. That's a beautiful way to honor a band member and close friend.

In case you've never had the privilege of seeing The Ducks, expect covers of your favorite 80s hits. And every The Ducks show has infectious party vibes, so come prepared to have fun.

If you've seen Whips N' Kisses, The Ducks will seem very familiar to you- it's basically the same thing minus the wigs and makeup.
