Man Indicted for Robbing Wells Fargo Bank in Lubbock
A federal grand jury has indicted a man for committing at least two robberies.
50-year-old Demetrius Spence was arrested on March 1st by Lubbock police as the primary suspect in the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1215 University Avenue, right across from the Texas Tech campus.
Security camera footage at the bank captured Spence in the act and he was located by police four hours later at a Greyhound bus station.
Spence has also been implicated in the June 15th, 2018, robbery of a Regions Bank location in Fort Worth.
