Missing Texas Man’s Body Found Electrocuted on Building Roof
32-year-old Jonathan Flores was reported missing last Wednesday by his girlfriend who hadn't seen him since he'd left home early the previous Sunday morning. She requested police search for him in the area of the business park near West Road of the Sam Houston Parkway. She told authorities she had a feeling he might be somewhere around there after a recent conversation.
It turns out, she was right.
Christian Briones, a friend of Flores, grew frustrated waiting for the police to find him and decided to look for him himself. He located Flores' bike abandoned near the business park and it didn't sit well with him.
He headed to the business park and noticed a foul smell, which led him to climb up the ladder to get to the roof, where he unfortunately found his friend's decomposing body "sticking out of a rooftop A/C unit."
According to ABC13, Briones now believes police may not have looked for his friend.
"They didn't look. They didn't want to look, and I told them."
Briones can only speculate as to why Flores was inside the A/C unit but mentioned he looked like he was taking something inside of it apart. It's unclear if Flores was an A/C repair person, but Briones said he had repaired his A/C unit at some point in the past before his mysterious death.
