More Than a Home—This Lubbock, Texas House is a Living Art Gallery
I've been living in an apartment in downtown Lubbock for a few years, and as much as I love it, I still have my eyes peeled for homes for sale. If I can talk myself out of spending so much money on DoorDash and other silly stuff, maybe I'll be able to afford one someday. *sigh*
There's one Lubbock home that I'd give anything to live in.
I visited it a few years ago for an intimate music performance in the backyard, put on by The Lubbock Listening Room. John Sprott played and we ate BBQ and drank craft beers. It was a great night, but I'll admit, I was distracted from his amazing performance by the badass home where it took place.
The house is located at 1707 33rd Street and according to Zillow, it sold for $365,000 the last time someone purchased it. It's not the most expensive house in Lubbock by any means, but it's certainly the coolest. Every single room is one-of-a-kind.
This house is literally art.
See what I mean in the gallery below, and if you ever have the opportunity to check out the inside of this home for an event, as I did, jump at it. It's just such a cool spot.
Take a Stroll Through One of Lubbock's Most Artistic Homes
What do you think? Would you live in it? I doubt I'll ever be lucky enough to own it, but I will certainly think about it when I buy a house. If I could make my future home even half as cool as this one, I'd be a happy camper.
