Early August in Lubbock is an interesting time of transition and opposites - while it's the hottest part of summer, our hearts already yearn for Fall.

It's also time to plan for Back to School, and brace ourselves for Tax-Free Weekend (Friday, August 8th, through midnight on Sunday, August 10th).
