Early August in Lubbock is an interesting time of transition and opposites - while it's the hottest part of summer, our hearts already yearn for Fall.

We all know that every shopping center and restaurant will be packed with shoppers from Lubbock and the surrounding communities. It may be the perfect time to try a hidden gem or an eatery off the beaten path, unless you're okay with a bit of a wait for your table.
