The No. 3 Texas Tech baseball team is off to one heck of a fast start.

The Red Raiders swept No. 11 South Alabama over the weekend to improve to a perfect 13-0 on the young 2018 season.

Texas Tech outscored the Jaguars 36-12 to mark the first time in 22 years that they have swept a ranked team in a four-game series.

Texas Tech will try and stretch their winning streak to 14 on Wednesday (March 7) when those Lobos of New Mexico come to town for an afternoon match-up at Dan Law Field.

First pitch is at 1 p.m.
