Not A Cook? Here’s Lubbock Places To Buy Prepared Thanksgiving Meals

Are you not much of a chef? Or are you like me, and have the world's tiniest kitchen? Perhaps you simply do not have the time or desire to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. That's alright! You have plenty of options. You can, of course, go to a restaurant open on Thanksgiving (let me also give thanks to Kelsee Pitman, our resident foodie for compiling that list).

However, some of us want to enjoy Thanksgiving at home, we just don't want to/ are unable to prepare it. So I've compiled a list of fantastic places that can help you have a memorable and lovely Thanksgiving feast.

United Supermarkets/ Market Street (various locations) 

Prime rib, ham, and turkey are all holiday protein options (may vary by location), in addition to delicious sides for one low package price. Meals are fully cooked and just need to be heated before serving. Additionally, United/ Market Street has many other catering options to suit your holiday needs like classy cheese, fruit, or dessert platters. You can even order your floral holiday centerpiece here, too.

 Texas 1809 (154 S. 8th, Slaton)

Texas 1809 is offering a traditional, yet creative meal that serves 10 for $200. Beer bread? Yum!

The Escondido Grill (701 Regis)

Offering both a bountiful feast (serves 8-10) and intimate meal (serves 2-4) options for Thanksgiving on an easy-to-order website. This meal features traditional turkey and sides but also includes Buttermilk Pecan Pie and your choice of sweet or unsweet tea.

Pitforks & Smokerings BBQ (1808 South US Highway 84, Slaton)

With the option to buy just what you want, Pitforks & Smokerings BBQ has the a la carte options you crave for your Thanksgiving turkey or any (or all) the pies you want.
