Why Pancake House Closed in Lubbock

The Pancake House suffered storm damage that left it unable to safely open the building back up for business. From their Facebook:

The storm damage that occurred this past week has put us in a tough position, and we aren’t able to open up for customers for the next few months. But don’t worry! We will do everything we can to make our dining room ready for you and every member of our PH family. It isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you later.

Renovations take a long time under the best circumstances, and any number of things can cause setbacks and delays.

Is There a Reopening Date Yet?

While there is no official reopening date yet, Pancake House did share photos of the active rennovation and rumor has it (for what that's worth) that the Pancake House could re-open as early as February, which is right around the corner.

Until an official reopening date is announced, Pancake House remains a hot topic among Lubbock diners. As soon as updates are shared, locals will be watching closely, eager to welcome back one of the city’s most familiar breakfast spots.
