A Lubbock man is unfortunately in jail today after trying to share some awesomeness in an awesome way yesterday. But he did cause an accident, so that sucks. And he was drunk.

Forty-three-year old Chad Coffey was just spreading joy to our city by dancing on the Slide overpass of Loop 289. But, because Lubbock drivers suck, someone had to brake suddenly to avoid him and had a wreck. Now Chad is in jail. He was drunk and in the way, but c'mon! He was just being awesome in his Wonder Woman cape and wrestling mask. I say free Chad!
