North Texas has seen tons of rain just like Lubbock. However, they are being invaded by fire ants because of it. So far, we aren't. So far.

According to WFAA in Dallas, North Texas is being invaded by fire ants that have been displaced by the tons of rain.

These ants, known in my house as the buttholes of the ant world, are moving into more populated areas because their current homes are flooding. And what's creepier is that they make giant ant rafts to float to their new homes.

Watch the video below and get your flame throwers ready to do battle against mother nature.

By the way, why is the Metroplex area known as North Texas and we're known as West Texas? If you look at a map, we are further north than they are. By kind of a lot. Who knows? Anyway, ants suck.
