Prosecutors Eyeing Nearly $11,000 Seized From Lubbock Business
On Monday, court records were filed concerning the Senator’s Game Room at 5302 South Avenue Q Drive.
Prosecutors are seeking to confiscate $10,880 seized from Eric Thompson during an April 16 search warrant.
According to court records, Thompson allegedly instructed employees to pay out cash prizes to members of the game room, an illegal act in the state of Texas.
Along with the cash, memory drives and machines from Senator’s Game Room were also taken in as police evidence.
Thompson was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of Keeping a Gambling Place back in June of last year, he subsequently posted $1,000 bond and was released from jail.
