Queensryche  tour manger Fozzy has spoken up about what has caused the band to cancel a number of dates on their current tour.It seems singer Geoff Tate has been ordered to rest his voice after what they are saying is the result of a reaction to some hazer fluid used during a show in Pennsylvania (hazer fluid is used in fog/smoke machines).

Fozzy says “His throat has been very inflamed for the last two days. He was able to make it through another show. How he did it, I have no idea, but he did it. Today he’s having some difficulties.”

Tate has said besides his throat problem he is feeling great and hopes to be back out on the road soon.
