Red Radier Track And Field Teams Host Masked Rider Open

With all the attention the Tech football program has been getting lately, it is easy to forget that Texas Tech is also the home of many other great athletic teams.

I'm sure a lot of you have probably been to a Red Raider/Lady Raider basketball game, or maybe you have seen the baseball team in action.

One team most of you probably have never caught in action is the Texas Tech indoor track team. That's a shame, because they have some nationally ranked men and woman that we could very well be seeing in the next Olympics.

As luck would have it though, they are holding their second meet of the year this weekend in "The Bubble, just south of The Jones, beginning at 10:00 a.m. today (January 18).

Sprints and field events will be held on the lower level, while distance events are held at the same time on the second level.
