This week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Pearl Jam, the Foo Fighters and even country star Dierks Bentley will pay tribute to Pink Floyd.

The week long tribute coincides with the reissuing of Pink Floyd's fourteen studio records in a 16-cd boxed set. The set includes an expanded version of "The Dark Side of the Moon" which spent 741 weeks on the billboard charts.

Floyd's drummer Nick Mason commented on the decision to reissue the Pink Floyd catalog "We're also conscious of the fact that it's probably the last opportunity to release big sets of CDs because I think downloading will eventually take over. And when that happens, all that packaging--the graphics and so on--will be lost. So it's quite nice to remind everyone how the record came out and what came with
it."

The Pink Floyd "Animals" tour one of the best live shows I've ever had a chance to witness and ranks in my top 3 favorite concerts.
