“Say” No More: One Of A Kind Lubbock Business Is Calling It Quits

A truly one-of-a-kind business has decided to call it quits at the end of October. Say Selfie LBK, located at 11915 Frankford Ave, Suite 100, made that announcement on their Facebook page:

ANNOUNCING THE END OF AN ERA

Say Selfie has been part of the Lubbock community for almost three years and, sadly, it’s time to say goodbye & reflect on all the memories that were made.

Although no reason was given for the closure, a comment on the post yields some clues. A person commented that it is a shame that businesses like this can't stay open, "especially when Lubbockites say there is nothing to do," to which Say Selfie commented that they "feel that sentiment."

Many professional places to shoot photography are shared by just a few people and do not offer affordable access to others, so this is a lost opportunity here in Lubbock for up-and-comers and for people just looking to get a fun picture of themselves and their friends.

Say Selfie will have normal business hours until Sunday, October 29th, which will be their last day. They also mentioned that they may sell off some of their set items, and to watch their Facebook Page in November.
