Senator Ted Cruz & Congressman Beto O’Rourke Agree to Three Debates
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke have agreed upon three debates leading up to the 2018 midterm election in Texas.
The first debate will be Friday, September 21, in Dallas at Southern Methodist University. The debate will be moderated with a 240-person audience.
The second debate will be held on Sunday, September 30, in Houston at the University of Houston. This debate will be town hall style with a 250+ person audience.
The last debate will be held on Tuesday, October 16, in San Antonio. This debate will be moderated with a 120-person audience.
Each debate will be an hour long. Topics for all three debates will be domestic policy, and for the last debate, half will be about domestic policy, while the other half will be about foreign policy.
