A California-born food truck made nationally famous after appearing on ABC's Shark Tank is rolling into Lubbock for two pop-up events.

Cousins Maine Lobster is a rare example of a food truck meeting with immediate success and then absolutely exploding into a thriving business that not only has a fleet of trucks across the nation but also has brick-and-mortar locations and even an online shop for folks who want lobster sent directly to their porch.

Cousins Maine Lobster appeared on Shark Tank in 2012 and received a $55,000 investment from Barbara Corcoran, with whom they still seem to have an extremely positive relationship.

We targeted Barbara from the beginning as we had done our research on her, how she works with businesses and that fact that she had invested in many other food brands. And at the end of the wild ride in the Tank, we came out hand in hand with Barb. Since that day, we have nothing but amazing things to say about Barbara and Shark Tank.

Texas currently has trucks in Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston, but lucky for Lubbock, a truck-on-tour (Dallas-Ft. Worth) is coming through West Texas with two stops in Lubbock.

This Thursday (3/9/2023), the truck will be located at HTeao (6704 Milwaukee) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving, "lobster rolls, tots, tacos, quesadillas, or even a bisque."

Perfect for Lent, the truck will also appear at Lubbock's Two Docs Brewery (502 Texas Ave.) on Friday (3/10/2023)  from noon to 9 p.m.

At both locations, customers are encouraged to use the CML mobile app in order to skip the line and to earn rewards points.
