Shout-Out to Lubbock’s Souper Salad for Always Being Totally Delicious

I'm a massive fan of Souper Salad. It's been one of my favorite places to eat in Lubbock since I was a kid. I usually go there with my family at least once a month, and it's always good. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is friendly, and the salad bar is always well stocked.

Did I mention the breadsticks? Get outta here! Top-notch yum.

If I'm going to eat at a buffet, I pretty much always pick Souper Salad. I'm not saying we don't have a lot of other fantastic buffets in town because we do totally do, but when I go there, I don't leave feeling like I've made a bunch of unhealthy choices and gained 5 pounds. That's always a plus for me.

I think the best part about Souper Salad is that they've had most of the exact same dishes on the salad bar there for my entire life. I can never get enough of that cold corn alfredo pasta. I've never quite been able to recreate it at home, but that stuff is out of this world. When I was a kid, I would try to get away with filling a whole plate with it. I still find myself wanting to do that as an adult.

Why is it so delicious? Someone, please explain.

Souper Salad has actually been a company since 1978. That's 44 years of being great at what they do. It started in Houston, Texas and they now have 17 different restaurants. Lubbock is lucky enough to have one of them, thank goodness.

So, here's my big shout-out to Souper Salad for being awesome. Lubbock loves you. Thank you for everything you guys do that keeps us all coming back, year after year.
