Southwest Airlines to Launch Nonstop Daily Flights from Lubbock to Houston in 2026

Luckily, Southwest Airlines in Lubbock is launching a new direct flight service to Houston Hobby, adding a new level of convenience to customers.
Details on Southwest’s New Lubbock to Houston Route
Beginning on March 5th of next year, Southwest Airlines will offer daily direct flights to Houston Hobby Airport. Southwest currently only offers this on weekends.
While George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the biggest airport in Houston, Hobby offers a less congested alternative for flyers.
I always opt for the smaller airport when possible. I always fly into Long Beach instead of LAX to visit my grandmother, as it is a significantly less stressful experience with much shorter lines. If I ever need to go to Houston, I will certainly opt for Hobby.
