Spring Is In Bloom…At Least Until Wednesday

Even though the weather has been typical West Texas crazy, spring is definitely here, and it was clear this weekend with the cool mornings and sunny afternoons...NICE!

Saturday the girls and I decided to venture out to the apple orchard for apple pancakes and sausage for brunch, an annual spring event for us.

Every spring High Plains Apple Orchard has an event they call The Apple Blossom Festival. They serve all you can eat apple pancakes, coffee, fresh apple cider, as a fund raiser for the local Meals On Wheels Organization.

So, after we all got our fill of hot apple pancakes, spicy sausage, and cold apple cider; we all headed out to enjoy a hayride through the apple orchard, yeah, spring is definitely here...

What a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
