Ever notice how birds seem to jump rather than walk when they are on the ground? What about the way a horse can twitch just a single spot on its body when a fly lands on it?

Clearly I had way too much free time on my hands over the past few days to sit and watch quirky things animals can do. Imagine my surprise when I got online this morning to read the news and saw a front page story about odd things about animals.
