According to a post shared on the LBK Foodies Facebook group,1000 Degrees Pizza on 114th and Indiana is struggling to get customers in the door. The post has garnered a ton of attention from local foodies and pizza lovers that have vowed in the comments to stop by and grab some food.

Here's the heartfelt post shared by Arturo Luna Jr. on the private Facebook page. I asked his permission to share it with you here and if you're a Lubbock foodie and haven't already joined the LBK Foodies Facebook group, do yourself a favor and check it out.

From Arturo:

"1000 Degrees Pizza on 114th & Indiana could really use your help!!! They had a total of 3 customers yesterday and have had some really rough weeks back to back. The owners are working 7 days a week and haven’t had a day off in 8 months so that they can provide for their two daughters. I ask that this group can come together and bless them right before the holidays so that they can be able to take Christmas Day off and enjoy time together as a family. They simply just want you to come try their pizza and wings, thanks in advance and God bless you all!"

This empty restaurant needs some love from Lubbock

If you've been shopping around for Christmas gifts, it might be a nice idea to go by and get some gift cards. Everybody loves pizza and a gift card makes a great stocking stuffer. When you support local businesses, you are supporting your neighbors, your friends, and your family here in Lubbock. Please do your best to shop locally anytime you can, especially around the holidays.

Let's come together and try to give them a hand in the spirit of Christmas.
