Switchfoot, from San Diego, describes themselves as "An American Alternative Rock Band" and has had several hits including "Meant To Live." They just previously toured with Creed and Finger Eleven and will began "The Beautiful Let Down" Tour when this tour ends, celebrating the anniversary of their most iconic album.

Blue October is another alternative rock bank- and a perennial favorite among their Lubbock fans.
