Texas Tech is planning a week of fun events for new and returning students.

A freshman assembly at Memorial High in Houston quickly became a lesson in vulgarity.

I went into Wallyworld the other day for a d.v.d. and some taco supplies (if it sounds like a pretty good evening, that's because IT WAS), but I was shocked to see tons of school supplies.  If just seeing them wasn't crazy enough, there was tons of people shopping for them.  More after the jump.
