Texarkana's fish rain of 2021 was initially blamed on water spouts, but a new report claims birds and their digestive issues may have been the real culprit.
Around here we live through Haboobs, those mighty West Texas thunderstorms, wind, cold and the heat. If you missed the Super Moon last night, tonight take time and enjoy the wonders that Mother Nature has to offer. Trust me, you'll enjoy it much more than the dirt from New Mexico that gets between your teeth when the wind blows.
This is just a snippet of film to come, but it is still pretty terrifying. Just look at the picture with this blog. You can only see a bit looking at you, but that eye is the size of a dinner plate. This thing could yank you apart if it wanted. It's probably pissed that you had calamari at some point in your life and it's looking for revenge.
I think I heard on a commercial or something that nature has what you call a "balance". I think it had to do with constipation or something, so I guess that's a poor way to start this story out. The real problem here is people keeping snakes as pets and letting them go when they get too big to handle. Details after the jump.
Mother Nature threw Australian residents a curve ball Monday when four waterspouts, well, sprouted off the New South Wales coast.
Cameras caught the stunning - and admittedly scary-looking - event, which occurred just north of Sydney. (A local news station claimed the spouts reached upwards of 600 meters, or nearly 2,000 feet.)
Check out video footage of the waterspouts after the jump.
