Tattoos Now Make Noise Because Our Bodies Are Too Darned Quiet
Tattoos are now something for the eyes and the ears.
Introducing the latest in cutting edge technology: Soundwave Tattoos, which are exactly what you think they are -- tattoos that play sound.
We won't get into the science of how exactly it works because we're not smart like that. According to Skin Motion, the company behind the new ink, "After you record or upload your desired audio clip in our app and purchase the Soundwave Tattoo, you need to get it tattooed by a Skin Motion certified artist. The cost of the tattoo is separate from the cost of the use of the app to play your Soundwave Tattoo. This is so that the artist can use their normal procedures and have the ability to customize your tattoo for you."
You can learn more in the below video, which sheds some light on what makes Soundwave do its magic.
If that hasn't fully piqued your interest, watch more about Soundwave below and start thinking of the tat you'd like to hear on your own body. In the meantime, we'll be over here trying to develop technology to make a scratch 'n sniff tattoo.
