Texans! Watch Out For These Scary Items in Your Kid’s Candy Bag!
Halloween is right around the corner and some of you may be nervous about what your kid could potentially bring home in their bag after trick-or-treating. We've all heard the rumors about needles, poison, and razor blades, but what about all of the other dangers that could be lurking in there?
The worst things I've ever found in my candy bag were fruit, homemade treats, and the occasional penny. Nobody wants a dang apple on Halloween. Jeez. One of my coworkers once got a single nilla wafer. Another got a handful of rocks. My boss said he even got a fruit roll-up one time. (I'm not even bothered by that last one. It's weird...but those go hard, so I think I'd let it slide...)
Those pale in comparison to the really bad stuff, y'all. Everyone seems to think it's a joke, but this is a serious problem.
Trick-or-treating is straight-up dangerous.
Look at this list of items you might just come across in your kiddo's candy bag this year. You don't want to take any chances on little Suzy or Tommy chomping down on something like this. It could have a devastating, even life-changing effect. Prepare yourself for the worst.
