Texans love tradition, but what do you do when those traditions take on new costs.

This has been a very telling survey. Of course none of us celebrate any holiday exactly the same way, but there are certain assumptions. It's assumed that during Easter people give Easter baskets, and enjoy chocolate bunnies, and dye and hide eggs, Well, a lot of baskets have been replaced with buckets or bags, some people prefer something else than chocolate, and dying and hiding eggs is just too expensive.
Are Texans Avoiding Easter Eggs?
Adding egg-sult to injury, is the skyrocketing price of eggs. Yes, we're finally getting a bit of a break from the all-time high price in March, but it's got people rethinking their traditions. Having a myth about a bunny hiding eggs is weird to begin with, as my friend the late Bill Hicks said-

More Easter Traditions In Texas?
Have you really thought about dying eggs to begin with? It sure seems like a nice fun, family activity, until you realize how incredibly boring it is. How is a parent, who's overstimulated kid is always on their phone or playing video games, supposed to convince a kid that holding an egg on a wire over hot water is "fun"? I found it boring back when we only had three channels on our black and white TV.
Texans May Be Changing Easter Traditions
So really, why not hide something different and or weird. We reached across multiple social media sites and asked people what should be hidden instead. We received a bunch of funny answers, but we also received some earnest, heartfelt suggestions.
