Texas Father Charged With Attempted Murder, Set Fire to House With Children Inside
46-year-old Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar has been accused of intentionally setting fire to his home while he and all three of his children were inside.
First responders rushed to 31619 Eldorado Lane in Fulshear, Texas on November 6th, 2024 after reports of a fire. The home was significantly burned and Pulgar was located with extensive burns that required a lengthy hospital stay. He was just released last Thursday and then booked in Fort Bend County Jail.

Two of the children miraculously escaped the home, but the third child, who was only 3 years old, remained trapped inside. Officers heard the toddler crying for help and rescued them through a bedroom window. They suffered smoke inhalation and were immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Pulgar has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and his bond has been set at $2.25 million.
