Who Is August’s Texas Fugitive of the Month?
Carlos Jose Ayala Morales, 44, is a white (Hispanic) man who is 5'10" and around 250 pounds. He has tattoos on his abdomen, back, right hand, and both arms. He is currently wanted for Attempted Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

The charge stems from an incident involving a 7-year-old being groped, according to KHOU. Morales has a criminal history of indecent contact with children and burglary charges.
In 2018 Morzles was convicted of evading arrest and "three counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact following incidents with two 14-year-old girls and one 12-year-old girl." Additionally, he was also convicted of Indecency with a Child by Exposure; the victim was an 8-year-old girl.
Public Urged to Report Any Information on Fugitive's Whereabouts
The public is being asked to help locate this man, who is a convicted child sex offender, and who allegedly didn't learn anything from his confinement for his other child sex crimes. He should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.

If getting a predator off the streets isn't enough incentive, the reward for Morales is increased during August, up to $6000 for information leading to his capture/ arrest.
Do NOT attempt to capture Morales yourself; instead, you can use the TDPS anonymous tip line to help authorities and quite possibly receive the reward, too.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following methods:
• Call the Texas Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477)
• Submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted website or Facebook page • Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App
All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted, and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
Callers’ anonymity is guaranteed by law and you could earn up to the CASH REWARD amount listed for each fugitive.
